Certificates for the tax office

An existing access application was reprogrammed as a Windows application based on an MS-SQL database for recalculations of payroll accounting for financial planning and the savings bank association Bayern. By developing a stand-alone application with a powerful database background, the software was able to recalculate large amounts of time sheets of several years of workforce. The application's performance was focused on the large amount of data and a simple capture interface.

Technologies

The application for entering time sheets for the receivers and controllers was programmed with Delphi. Delphi was also used in conjunction with FastReport to report the results with the documents for employees and the tax office. The actual data maintenance and calculation of the considerable amounts of data was carried out directly in MS-SQL. With great focus on the performance of the database and the calculation queries were optimized here with great effort.
